2019 Chicago Auto Show RAM Highlights

There were plenty of exciting things to do and vehicles to see at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show, including news on the new RAM 1500 and how it will soon be available with a multi-function tailgate and more exciting features. Just look at the 2019 Ram 1500 vs. Ford F-150.
All-New RAM 1500 Details
Perhaps the biggest news from our friends over at RAM was the multifunction tailgate that is available on the all-new RAM 1500 in just a few months. Unloading equipment at your Pekin job will be easier than ever. Here are some details on the highlights:
- Multifunction tailgate: This function has been popular lately among competing pickup trucks, but RAM has perfected the feature with simplicity. It can operate as a regular tailgate and support up to 2,000 pounds, or it can be opened as 60/40 split double doors. The best part about the RAM multifunction tailgate is that it remains fully functional with a trailer attached.
- RAMBOX: The RAMBOX was another highlight at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show. Though it is not a newly available feature, it is certainly worth the highlight. Not only is it built-in to the bed for your convenience, but it’s also weather-proof, lockable, drainable, and brightly lit with LEDs.
More RAM News
Other RAM highlights at the conference included exciting announcements like the RAM 1500 being the most-awarded half-ton pickup in the US, with a seven percent increase in sales in 2018.
We also got news on the RAM 3500, 4500, and 5500 Chassis Cabs. Their bodies can be suited to contractors, ambulances, and dump trucks. Between the three of them, their towing capacity is a massive 5,500 – 35,2000 pounds, and the Chassis models out-tow every truck in their class. As our last bit of exciting news, Washington shoppers who are hoping for a RAM 2500 Chassis Cab will have their wishes met in just a few months!
